Henry Moore's Birthday Party

Celebrate Henry Moore’s birthday with us! Moore, the sculptor of Large Arch, was born on July 30, 1898. Learn about Henry Moore and Large Arch with a pop-up exhibit with materials from the Columbus Indiana Architectural Archives. Thanks to support from the Columbus Area Arts Council, we’ll have local sculptor Bob Pulley on hand to lead an all-ages art activity. We’ll have all the things you need for a great party – music, activities, and cake! Bring a picnic and enjoy the day.

Share a Memory: Scanathon!

We want you to share a library-related memory with us. Bring photos or slides, and we’ll scan them. Don’t have any photos or slides, but have a memory to share? Take a seat in our recording studio, and we’ll film you live. Or pull up a chair at one of our computers, and we’ll show you how you can share your memory in writing.

During this session, we will brainstorm content for our own Golden Record and then record our voice and video clips in the Digital Underground. Registration required.
